I help people move transition from Point A to Point B with clarity and confidence. That’s it.
Whether by design or circumstance, making decisions to get to the other side are not easy, especially when thinking about how it can affect not only you, but those around you like your family.
In me you have an ally, an advocate and an accountability guide to help you see you through it all.
I spent over 25 years in the hospitality industry as a chef, leader and culinary college professor. I spent many years manning the stoves to hone my craft, but my most successful and satisfying years were when I was leading teams. I performed at senior and executive levels in corporate environments to not only produce on time and on budget, but to guide and direct staff and management alike. I have worked at world class hotels and attractions, fine dining establishments and other avenues related to hospitality.
But my greatest joy came in teaching and mentoring. Connecting with people one-on-one or in small groups is where I felt my strength and happiness lie. Tapping into other people’s greatness, to harness their power, to show them the way to new levels is what I enjoyed most. And that is what I get to do whenever I talk to clients like you who are looking to up their game, to find and connect with what drives them and to feel purposeful and passionate..
Life wasn’t always so rosy. Part of my story is that I was an active alcoholic for many years. I functioned at high levels, but battled the bottle until rock bottom compelled me to put it down for good. I have been in recovery for some time now, and the inner work that required me to relieve myself of that demon is what has created the greatest shifts in my life. Not only was I able regain footing in my life, but I was able to rocket upwards to my potential. And in doing so, I knew that to keep it I had to give it away. I have since counseled and worked with dozens of men and women in all stages of recovery. Through my blog, podcast and book, I have reached countless others to carry the message of hope. This helped me lay the foundation of coaching, and to open the space of compassion, empathy and listening.
